Satan?


The following article from the popular business magazine 'Fast Company', criticizes WalMart's pricing practices and their effect on consumers and competition.   1. What I think about Walmart, is that it is using a strategy to sell it products. So other companies can't fight because walmart is selling it products in a low price. Walmart knows what it is doing. So Im with Walmart, the idea of a big company is to sell without thinking in other companies. Each company have to worry about itself. Only to sell the posible.

I think Walmart uses its publicity as all that companies to promote what they are selling, but behind all that stuff there have been promoting, there is another image, the image that they doesn´t show. When walmart sells everything, its cheaper that in other places and what Walmart is trying to do is make the people consume cheaper things without knowing where they come from (Walmart uses different companies to make their products, companies that sell everything with another materials that are cheaper and look as equal as the normal products) Walmart uses this cheaper products to make the people consume more and more and make the competition with other industries so much easy because if a person sees the same product in Walmart and in other place, but in Walmart is cheaper, they prefer tu buy it there, that´s what Walmart makes to win against the other companies.

  3. Maybe a cucumber is not the beautiful product that one expects to produce when organizing some kind of company, but the Wal-mart pickles are the most known in USA- unusual becomes leading. In order to understand better that economy strategy using Wal-mart as an example, there is a short reflection stated by Paul Krugman as appears in the article “The Wal-mart you don’t know” by Charles Fishman. “One of the things that limits or slows the growth of imports is the cost of establishing connections and networks. Wal-Mart is so big and so centralized that it can all at once hook Chinese and other suppliers into its digital system.”

Wallmart is a great company at selling stuff, it does knows how to attract clients and make them stay with the company discounts and goods. but the big problem of wallmart is that is forcing its suppliers to sell their stuff for very low prices, this is not against the law, but is not ethic to gain profit by promoting the unfair disadvantage of others companies in that extreme way.

  5. Walmart is a company that offers great products to their costumers which is a great thing. What really concerns me is the treat wal-mart is having with their parnert and suppliers, by making them sell their products generating almost any profit. Although this is a very complicated issue we can deny the good prices and nice treat that this company offers to their customers.

  6. Who goes to Walmart searches for cheap prices. This gigantic corporation sell affordable products which benefit lots of Americans, but the ones who really beneft their profits are Walmart's enterprenurers. They know how to reach the customers' heart by means of lovely commercials and attractive propaganda while they negociate with product suppliers that offer them incredible prices. Walmart's a company which knows how to sell and even though people may think their strategies are illegal, they're definitely not .

  7. whats the problem with walmart, suppliers and the cost they have to pay to sell their brand or products in this huge coorporation. However the only porpuse of walmart is keep searching new methods to mantain cheap prices or to lower them. thats what the costumers look for when they enter these stores.as the strategy works and walmart keeps growing theres no chance to change their policies towards suppliers.

  8. Walmart main problem is that their prices and their product qualities are too good that are able to everybody. so how does this is converted into a problem? The real problem is that wallmart is selling more than other companies because of the accecibles prices and the great publicity that makes client being confortable with this store.

  9. Walmart is one of the greatest companies in the u.s, but what they are willing to do to mantain that status, to what cost? Well, basicly they way in which they sell prejudice their suppliers until they collide. My opinion to toward walmart activity is that until small companies don´t stop believing that their brands will only get known and massively sell through Wallmart, the abuse of Walmart will increase and its manipulation of the American economy will be bigger.

Walmart may be considered satan by most of the people which do not understand that walmart is one step in front of the rest because the cheap and lower prices it offers to the customes which are always looking for economy and knowing they will find it in walmart bring more and more trust. Also the propaganda used by them attract customes to see wal mart as the best option.
