I didn’t knew there was such a deep investigation on advertizing and its audience, it really impressed me. Looking at the “emotion wheel” and some actual Coca cola advertising I noticed it really works and that trough a precise mix of emotions on the advertising, is possible to reach a specific reaction of the audience.
is really interesting our different feelings are all related into each other, but must amazing it is that we are just simple prototypes that can be described in a complexed wheel of feelings.
Its really impressing to see how big companies and marketing campaings are able to manipulate us by our feelings and emotions, this emotion wheel makes me feel as a robot, where anyone can control what i will like to buy or be interested.
Interesting and original point of view, it proposes a different conception about some different media themes trough a bold perspective. That maybe is always a scheme how influence can be applied to different societies and personally taking into account personal skills of each one.
Definitely every single succesful enterprise has used this scheme in order to fabricate their commercial campaigns. Salesmen base their marketing strategies on the emotions wheel in order to be succesful in their job, however I believe 98% of consumers don't realize the acutal manipulation that they've been victims of. This wheel helps us understand it and hopefully make us stop the media extorsion.
its amazing how huge coorporations use methods as the one in the image to obtain profits , these earnings are focused on peoples emotions and resctions which is quite disturbing. this emotion wheel is a deep study of peoples reply to brands and products. According to the target, the managment of these scheme changes and its applicable to everyone!.... upsetting!!!!
i never imagine how coorporations looks also the emotions of a person to make them products more usefull and better. is pretty difficult to analize the image, but everything is connected.
When i think about corporations taking interest in our emotions makes me feel used. Because they dont make their products taking into account how does make us feel, they only use our emotions to sell.
There is no secret that every company create a marketing plan which is leading by the community needs, the product must be to direct to certain group of people taking into account we are not equal nor are our needs. This wheel emotion is just reaveling how they classify people and which emotions are linked.
This wheel is really famous, because through this big companies defined their production and public. Through this wheel we can see the manupilation we suffer by media, how slogans and are directed to create feelings in us and make us buy what we are looking for.
i'm amazed at how smart you guys are! two weeks ago i had meetings with parents from grades 5-9. and before every meeting, in the morning, i would look at this wheel to see what to wear. i mixed blues and reds, and a little bit of yellows. i think the color of the tie is key to instilling some kind of emotion in people. i'll tell you guys in class how it went. be well. luis
