Nike...Pinilla's Favorite Brand (DP)

In this video Andy Ansha says, "...when you play in a game of football, it naturally comes out. But when you work on a film set it works totally different. It has to be choreographed and coached out of you." Why then get a real footballer, to show you real football moves, and to make you feel a real football experience? Also, what do you guys think about the influential methods used here? What relationship do these methods have to the Emotions Wheel discussed in class? How effective is the slogan at the end of the commercial? Why?

  1. hey lui that´s what my manifesto in part is trying to explain.......and im totally agree with what Andy Ansha says because the purpose of this brand is to manipulate all players to carry their capabilities beyond naturality.
also, As niño torres said that it is an honor to work in such brand, sice he´s conscious that all number one on the globe are wearing something of this brand, and that are one of those things that makes them superior. and according the wheel of emotions the target always will be to feel stupendous, in or out of game

  2. Well Lui this is perfect to discus what we see in class this company doesn't give much money to the product but to the media which is the hole opposite of the Wall-mart market. The reason why they use the real players is because what calls the attention of the buyer is the fact that the real one uses that specific bran, you want the best and what is best than what the winers or privilege in those sports use? nothing. they give you empathy to make you happy, they use the wheel to see what do you want to feel once you buy nick well thats what they sell they don't sell shame, they sale pride, happiness, joy, through a non dominant campaign.

  3. LUIII!!!! sorry!!!! but i just have to say that.... I LOVE!!!! LOVEEEEEE----L-O-V-E FERNANDO TORRES!!!! jajjaa sorry! i had to say it_!!!!...
and to answer the question you put , well everything that you do because you have a passion with it mostly is very good and i believe that a person makes more effort when they like what they are doing, so yes i do believe that when Torres is playing he does it with more passion that a commercial!...
but then in a commercial may be he does is: 1) because of money 2) because he actually believes that Nike is the best, what he explains of the ball that can be in different like variables (weather) 3) because he wants to be and example.
so yes this is a propaganda for Nike , but it just sell in a kind of way what the player is felling ... so is true to it self.

  4. sarita...'feeling'...but yes..you're probably right abou the order of circumstances that made him do the commercial...what captured me was the actual manipulation of each shot by nike...the position of the muscles...the soccer ball...they think of everything...i imagine them in the conference room with market researchers talking strategy, it makes my skin crawl!!!!
