  1. Wow, this movie trailer really looks cool. Well now that this ¨Sherlock Holmes¨ type of mystery has passed through many manipulative styles of writing, now here we can see how This actor Interprate Sherlock Holmes like the new and hardboiled type of character, that can be described as a real noir fiction tough guy.(Involucrate with sex, criminality, mysterious. etc..)

  5. i think that this trailer was interesting. i think this could be a great example of noir fiction. As charls said, you can clearly see how the main ideas of noir fiction are expressed and displayed on this trailer, such as: se, crime, mystery, among others.
you may also notice the setting and location, and note that is not present, is in the past, which makes it more interesting.
    i hope to see it.

  10. i've read some Sherlock Holmes books....
This movie trailer definitely doesn't reflect himself in the books... sure, if it was, nobody would see the freakin movie, but it screwes up the essence of the character.
    I'd guess it's not hardboiled...
too much jokes, lack of hmmm... how do you call that? When a character is good and bad... This trailer makes Holmes look more like Jack Sparrow or something...

  14. This movie trailer seems to regard harboiled fiction topics. As a good trailer, fitful scenes of action and suspense appear to generate expectatives among viewers. Very good trailer for Sherlock Holmes, I hope we can see it in group.

  16. is matthew the only one that knows anything about sherlock holmes? does nobody else think this character is strange? what about watson?

  17. I believe that neither Holmes, nor Watson, look like themselves in the books. On 1:15, Watson disrespects Holmes, something that I had never read...
